I want my positive energy to reach every person in the audience, showing everyone how much I truly love playing the piano, no matter what genre of music it is.

Known for passionate performances with impeccable acuity for color, textural balance and keen attention to detail, Dr. Kristie Janczyk is one of today’s young prolific American pianists. Playing since the age of three, Kristie is sought after around the world as a soloist, chamber musician and accompanist. She is consistently praised for her inspiration and flair by communicating the energy and
musical impulses in the pieces, as well as for presenting programs full of confidence and passion that underscore her love for the piano.

I strongly believe that “confidence and positive reinforcement” are essential in every lesson environment. Through my own experience and observing other musicians, I have discovered that each student must practice every day to maximize progress. Without dedicated practice, all of the instruction a student has received will slowly be erased. As virtuoso violinist Itzhak Perlman observed: “When I don’t practice for a day, I know it. When I don’t practice for two days, the critics know it. When I don’t practice for three days, the audience knows it.”
